The Kirk View School, Gaya now permanently affiliated to the Council for The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) was set up in Gaya in 1982, by the founder principal Manjulika Chatterjee as a Montessori-based kindergarten. Since then, the school has grown organically to add primary, middle, secondary and senior secondary levels.
