Attendance
- Absence without a proper reason will not be allowed. An application for leave of absence must be sent by the parents through School Canvas or email before the school begins for the day.
- All communication between teachers and parents will be made through the School Canvas App. No Dairy will be issued.
- All LEAVE RECORDS will be maintained through the School Canvas app.
- All applications must be routed through the School Canvas app or email. Class teachers may even request a medical certificate/application if a student is absent for more than 2 days.
- Attendance below 75% students may result in students being debarred from examination & promotion, excursions and cultural programs.
- Students must come to school 10 minutes before assembly begins.
- If the student misses the assembly, he/she may be marked absent. Students may be sent home after 3 such warnings.
- Warning and Disciplinary Procedure for Attendance.
- First Warning – 10 Days of Absence – In case a student remains absent for 10 continuous working days without prior permission or a valid medical reason, a warning shall be issued to the parent/guardian.
- Second Warning – 20 Days of Absence – If a student accumulates 20 continuous working days of unauthorised absence, a second warning shall be issued, and the matter may be reviewed by the school authorities.
- Final Warning and Termination – 30 Days of Absence – If a student is absent for 30 cumulative working days without approved leave, the school reserves the right to strike the student’s name off the rolls, in accordance with ICSE rules and school regulations.
Discipline:
- Celebrating Birthdays
- Casual wear/Home wear/Everyday wear is allowed, provided it is appropriate for school and comfortable for the student.
- Distributing sweets: Should a parent wish to distribute sweets, this should be restricted to Chocolate Eclairs/Melody. No cake cutting or distribution of gifts in the school.
- NO GIFTS
- Bringing expensive items, watches, games etc or cash is not allowed.
- MOBILE PHONES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. If a student is found with a mobile phone, without any valid reason or authorisation from teachers, the mobile phone will be confiscated, and the student may be fined.
- Any damage to school property will have to be compensated by the parent/guardian, such as breaking windows, furniture or graffiti (writing on walls, desks, etc.), damaging computers and other such equipment.
- Use of inappropriate language or any kind of physical violence will result in strict disciplinary action.
- A student may be expelled (removed/dismissed) from school for sufficient reasons such as …
- unsatisfactory progress in studies,
- serious misconduct,
- dishonesty or absence from examination/assessments,
- non-payment of school fee for two consecutive months,
- Misbehaviour of parents or guardians may lead to striking off the student’s name from the rolls.

Tiffin
- It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to give their children healthy food.
- Packed food,/Junk food/Maggi,/Wafers are strictly prohibited. Only biscuits as tiffin is not advisable.

Homework Policy
- Textbooks will be kept in class for students up to Class IV. Only homework assignments will be sent home.
- All homework must be signed by the parents.
- Parents must ensure that students are not carrying unnecessary books to school.

Tutors and Private Tuition
- Private tutors SHOULD NOT be engaged up to Class V.
- A tutor may be engaged after consulting the Principal/Vice Principal and obtaining a written consent.
- No private tuition shall be taken from the teachers who teach at The Kirk View School.

Fee Rules and Regulations
- Paying fees on time is the responsibility of the parents.
- The parents/guardians will deposit fees at the designated bank or through the School Canvas
- No fee book will be issued as the same is available on the School Canvas
- Fees once paid are non-refundable.
- Late fine of Rs 200/- will be charged per month after the due date, Saturday, Sunday & Holidays included, i.e. late fine will be applicable from the 11th of the month. In case the 10th is a holiday payment must be made before.
- Fee to be paid as per the instalment schedule in advance.
- DO NOT DEPOSIT MONEY IN THE ATM OR BY NEFT/RTGS. Such payments will go into suspense, and the school will not be responsible for any delays caused in updating the records.
- If the academic fee arrears/outstanding exceed 60 days after the due date, the student’s name may be struck off the rolls. A full re-admission fee would be applicable.
- Re-admission is subject to approval by the School before resuming classes
- Fee Default Notice and Termination of Admission- The fee notices will be sent out as follows:
- 1st Reminder: 30 days after the due date
- 2nd Reminder: 45 days after the due date
- 3rd Reminder: 60 days after the due date (name may be struck off the rolls)
- 1st Warning: 65 days after the due date – Student will be debarred from attending school
- 2nd Warning: 70 days after the due date –
- Final Warning: 75 days after the due date (termination of enrollment/services)

- No CASH Payment will be accepted at school except for the following
- At the time of admission
- If a parent wishes to pay a fee in one go (One Time Payment), this will be accepted only up to April 20.
- ECS – Auto Debit (Most Preferred) Contact the office.
- The parent has to give an e-mandate, and the fee will automatically be debited directly from your account on the 7th of every month.
- The entire year’s fee will be equally divided into ten (10) instalments
- No extra charges will be applicable

- Fee payment will be accepted at the school office by LOCAL CHEQUE
- It must be deposited before the 7th of every month. Thereafter, late fees will be applicable.
- Mention Roll no. Student Name & Class on the reverse of the cheque.
- A penalty of Rs 1000/- will be charged if the cheque is dishonoured for any reason.
- Cash at designated bank**
- A challan will be generated, and then you may use this to pay at any bank of your choice.
- Flat Late fee of Rs 200/- will be applicable after the 7th of every month.
- **This mode of payment may vary from time to time.
Withdrawing Your Child From School
- Once admitted, a child is expected to continue till the end of the session.
- If a parent wishes to withdraw his/her child in the middle of the session or before the end of the session, then an application has to be given to the Principal, and the fee for the ENTIRE year must be paid.
- Report card and transfer certificate will be issued only if there are no dues.
- Transfer certificates will be issued with at least 10 working days’ notice.
